1.0 INTRODUCTION
Crops are domesticated plants that we grow on our farms, orchards and gardens. These
crops vary in their nutritional requirements, soil and weather needs; susceptibility to pests
and diseases, etc. Similarly, the parts of the crop that meet man’s need equally vary.
